Grading Scale

I grade the book based on a combination of these categories:

1. Characters (out of 20)
2. Writing (out of 20)
3. Plot (out of 20)
4. Accurate YA voice (out of 20)
5. Cover (out of 10)
6. Title (out of 10)

I add up each of those categories to reach an overall grade, the highest possible score being 100.

100 = A+

97-99 = A

94-96 = A-

90-93 = B+

86-89 = B

83-85 = B-

80-82 = C+

77-79 = C

74-76 = C-

71-73 = D+

68-70 = D

65-67= D-

64 or below= F
