URGENT! I NEED YOUR OPINIONS!

I've been thinking...

... about starting a weekly meme...

... where we compare international covers of books...

... every Thursday.

I know many people do judge books by their cover, despite the saying. Myself included. *blushes*

I think a weekly comparison to see if we would buy a book based on their various covers would be extremely interesting, and I'd love to host it every Thursday. But I would need your help! I'd teach myself how to use Mr. Linky so everyone can comment on each others posts.

So what do you think? Just comment with your opinion, I'd love love love LOVE to hear it! I really value your ideas.

I would probably comment, but I am not sure if I would participate.

I would looove for this to happen. It sounds really cool and covers do make the book. (whether you think so or not) I'd post book covers and surely participate. :)

i would so be there :) i love discussions of covers and absolutely judge books by them. I know, I know. which is why i took so long to bother reading the hunger games and the book thief.

And why i sometimes buy crappy books without testing out the first chapter or checking out what other people thought of them first.

i have no idea about the linky thing :)

Lol, who doesn't judge a book by its cover?! I'm not exactly sure how it'd work, but I think it COULD work. It sounds like a combo of WoW and those memes out there comparing international covers. Good luck! :)

I think that sounds brilliant, and I'll be looking forward to it if you decide to go through with it.

Sounds like a great idea. Covers can make or break a book. I'd be happy to pitch in.
